During her Spring semester internship with FRC, University of North Georgia student, Victoria Mann quickly learned the importance of safety at our Visitation Center due to unexpected volatile situations that can occur with child custody disputes or during the process of family reunification. As a result, she drafted the narrative needed for our agency’s submission to Habersham EMC’s Community Impact Grant (Round Up Program) requesting funds for additional surveillance cameras to improve our safety measures. Thankfully her narrative was successful and we were granted $2,000! Way to go, Victoria and thank you, HEMC Round Up Program! We are very blessed to have amazing community partnerships. We are also very fortunate to have such high caliber interns on loan to us! We are very grateful!
It is our hope in the coming months to secure additional funding for three more security cameras to enhance our security system even further.
