For three consecutive years Habersham Family Connection has been proud to provide financial support to the Family Resource Center of Northeast Georgia. This year their $1900 donation will go to support our agency’s new Positive Parenting Program for caregivers of pre-teens and teens along with our “How to Nurture Yourself & Others” program which is designed to help families working through substance abuse issues.

Whether you’re dealing with a big, small or one-of many problems while raising kids and teenagers our new Positive Parenting Program that starts in January, 2019 can help!
• Temper tantrums?
• A child who won’t go to bed and stay there?
• Kids who don’t listen or a defiant child?
• Disrespectful or rude behavior?
• A teenager who struggles to make friends?
• An affectionate child that turns into a distant teen?

“Raising kids is not always easy, but thanks to Habersham Family Connection’s partnership, along with grants, we are able to provide our parenting classes at no charge to anyone interested in helping build a more successful family environment,” says Jennifer Stein.

Family Resource Center of Northeast Georgia is a non-profit located in Clarkesville, Georgia empowering families towards success and helping them create a happier, calmer family life through parent education, support groups, therapeutic counseling, and supervised family visitation.
