We are very grateful to Cynthia Whitney (pictured) for the countless hours she spends knitting and crocheting for our FRC families. She faithfully makes dozens of beautiful blankets for children and teens to enjoy once they graduate from our various services. She also makes many purple infant caps that our staff distribute to new moms at the Habersham Medical Center along with DVDs entitled, “The Period of PURPLE Crying. The acronym PURPLE is used to describe specific characteristics of an infant’s crying to let parents and caregivers know that what they are experiencing is indeed normal and, although frustrating, is simply a phase in their child’s development that will pass.

Thank you, Cynthia! You are such a great blessing to us! We truly appreciate your loving heart!
